How We Work
Every product we work on is different – and as a consulting design firm we aim to be as flexible as possible, which means our projects vary widely in both technologies and project structure. That said, many of our design engagements do fall into a few main categories such as: full concept-up product design, purely electronic hardware design, stand-alone PCB layout services, or pure firmware development projects. These can all range from being entirely handled by RedRidge, or done in concert with our client’s in-house teams.
We also have clients who we support in ongoing consulting engagements, including 3rd party design reviews, compliance testing support (EMC, FCC, UL, CE, etc.), sustaining engineering for in-production hardware (BoM sourcing, component swaps, alternate part qualification, etc.), and occasional design or debugging help.
If you’d like to see how we could help with your company’s project, don’t hesitate to get in touch, and we’d be happy to meet with you and put a proposal together. If you’re looking for a specific area of design support like PCB layout or electronics design, and want to learn more, take a look at some of our service specific highlights below.
